Making a Rawhide Knife Sheath

This is a link to a detailed 38 page instruction tutorial on how to make a rawhide knife sheath similar to the one seen at left. The file is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download from www.adobe.com) although you probably already have it on your computer - most newer machines come with it already installed.

The PDF file is called Rawhide_Sheath_Tutorial.pdf. It's about a 3 mb file, so sorry for the marathon download if you're on a soda straw connection.

Here's the link: Rawhide_Sheath_Tutorial.pdf

At left is a reduced size example of a typical page. The page sizes in the actual document are full sized 7 1/2 by 9 inch sheets, optimized for on-screen viewing.

These instructions are copyrighted, and are intended for your non-commercial use. In other words, have a good time with them, but you aren't allowed to make money from distributing the instructions. Of course, the sheath you make is yours to dispose of as you please. I'm not charging you for these instructions, so please don't charge someone else.
